Urby Breaks Ground in Hoboken

Hoboken Urby

A meticulously designed world of its own, Urby has reimagined apartment living — and Hoboken is next. Construction is now underway on Urby’s latest New Jersey location, joining Jersey City, Newark, and Harrison in bringing a bold new vision of urban living to life.

Set just steps from Hoboken Terminal, the 16-story building will feature a mix of 345 thoughtfully crafted apartments and a robust lineup of  social and wellness spaces designed for connection and comfort.  The interiors, designed by Shawn Hausman, known for The Standard Hotels, will balance style and functionality across a range of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. The lush 4th-floor courtyard, designed by landscape architect Bas Smets known for his recent work on the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, will provide a serene escape. Towering bamboo, layered greenery, a cold plunge, sunbeds, grilling stations, and a dramatic fire-pit pavilion will offer the perfect backdrop for gathering, unwinding, and soaking in golden hour.

Set to open summer 2027, Hoboken Urby will be a vibrant addition to the Hoboken community.
