We believe that art and design are essential parts of what make a home and community feel alive. That’s why we partnered with Nostalgia and Noise on a multi-day pop-up gallery experience that brought together work from both national and local artists — transforming the 25th floor of Dallas Urby’s newest tower.
The collaboration wasn’t just about showing art; it was about rethinking how we live with it. When we think of home, we think of design, light, texture, rhythm — all of which art naturally complements and elevates. The idea was simple: create space for art to live within the architecture, not apart from it.

We’ve worked with Nostalgia and Noise before on smaller creative moments, but this was a broader effort — anchored by a pre-opening night with Dallas-based artists and cultural tastemakers, followed by a courtyard gathering of 300+ with local DJs and an extended final-day viewing.
Throughout the event, Urby became a temporary gallery — but also a case study in how art can shape the feel of a place. Whether it’s installed across a white-wall hallway or layered into someone’s living room, art brings identity and energy to the everyday.
Art isn’t just decorative — it’s functional. It helps form community, strengthens cultural identity, and fosters a sense of belonging. These are all things we think about when designing spaces at Urby.

This collaboration was a clear reminder of how art and design shapes not just spaces, but the communities within them. It’s a conversation we’re eager to keep having — through design, programming, and the everyday experience of living at Urby.
